(Discounted rate only available for those that purchase an Advanced 2D Class registration)
We are excited to open registration for our on-demand Pipe Flow Modeling course. The instruction for this course will be led by the newest member of Full Momentum Solitons, Chris Hanstad who has great experience teaching and using pipe flow modeling with HEC-RAS.
The HEC-RAS Pipe Flow Modeling training course provides hands-on instructions for modelers looking to use the new Pipe Network features in HEC-RAS version 7.0. The course is intended for individuals who have some 1D and 2D HEC-RAS experience.
The 8-hour course will cover pipe flow theory, features and functionality, and demonstrate a variety of ways to implement pipe flow networks in new or existing HEC-RAS models. The course will be divided into 1-hour long sessions that feature follow-along demonstration workshops to apply newly learned concepts directly in HEC-RAS. The workshops will feature a variety of stormwater applications to provide a broad sampling of the pipe flow capabilities of HEC-RAS.
The course will culminate in students completing a stormwater modeling project that brings together many of the core concepts to challenge students and test their modeling skills. The on-demand format allows students to learn at their own pace and fully explore the modeling workshops between sessions. Live training may be offered depending on level of demand.
On-Demand course set to be available August 1st, 2026.
